He will examine recent data breaches, which have affected companies of all shapes and sizes, so that lessons can be learned from those events. He will outline the steps required to notify affected individuals, regulators, and law enforcement with emphasis on the differing legal requirements across the country. Finally, he will review the steps for implementing a response plan so companies can respond quickly and efficiently in the event of a breach and minimize liability for claims.
