Margaret  joined Sheehan Phinney in 1989. For over 35 years, she has advised clients in the areas of commercial finance and real estate, including public finance, commercial finance and affordable housing, and acquisition, sale and leasing of commercial real estate. She regularly serves as lead counsel on multifaceted projects, often from inception, through to closing and during operation. Throughout her career, she has also served as outside general counsel to several institutional clients in a variety of industries, overseeing delivery of legal services across a range of specialties. She served on the firm’s management committee from 2016 to 2023 and before that served on its strategic planning committee and as hiring partner.
