(February 1, 2018, Manchester, NH) – Sheehan Phinney’s Affordable Housing team recently represented all three New Hampshire developers in connection with a $59,180,000 2017 Series 1 Bond. The firm’s representation included representing the developers receipt and syndication of 4% low income housing tax credits; procurement of financing of private and public sources of financing; and tax planning in the structure of the deal. The team also provided the necessary due diligence and opinions to Bond Counsel for the issuance of the bonds.
The funds were made available to three developers, Dover Housing Authority, Anagnost Investments Inc., and affiliates of Chartwell Holdings to be used to create 724 affordable housing units. Dover Housing will redevelop 184 units in Dover, NH, Anagnost Investments Inc. will develop 152 units in Nashua, NH and Chartwell Holdings will rehab and convert 388 units in Seabrook, NH.
